What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember something between visits: for example, a preference or your choice about advertising.
What we store ourselves
This website does not set cookies of its own. Visit analytics (Umami) work without cookies and do not store your IP address. If you choose light or dark mode, that preference is stored in your browser's local storage under the name tema: it is not a cookie, it does not expire on its own and it never leaves your browser.
Third-party cookies: Google AdSense
Ads are not active today: the website does not load any Google code and sets no cookies. This table describes what will happen when they are switched on.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google AdSense advertising cookies | Showing ads, limiting how often you see the same one, measuring their results, preventing fraud and, only if you consent, personalizing them | As stated in Google's official list for each one | Third-party | |
| Google consent message cookies (Privacy & messaging) | Storing your choice about cookies so you are not asked again on every page | As stated in Google's official list for each one | Third-party |
The exact names and the duration of each Google cookie are in its official list, which Google keeps up to date: business.safety.google/adscookies. More about how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. What we process and on what legal basis is in our privacy policy.
How to accept, reject or change your choice
If you visit us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the first time you see Google's message with three options: Consent, Do not consent and Manage options, where you can choose by purpose and by vendor. Advertising cookies are only used if you consent.
You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page: it opens that message again. While ads are not active there is no message to open, which is why the link brings you to this section.
How to delete cookies from your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. If you block them all, some websites may not work properly.
