Editorial policy
How we choose, write, check and correct the stories on IA en un minuto.
What IA en un minuto is
An artificial intelligence news publication, in English and Spanish: what happened, told so it can be understood in a minute, with its source linked and, separately, why it matters. It is published by InfinyAI, a brand of TechnoFutureNow LLC.
Stories are written with the help of artificial intelligence
We say it plainly, as the European AI Act requires (article 50.4): the stories on this website are written with the help of AI from their original source and checked automatically against that source. Today no person reviews each story before it is published. The editor in charge is Jon Elgezabal.
How a story is made, step by step
- The radar. Every 30 minutes, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Spain time, a program checks around thirty sources: the official blogs and newsrooms of AI companies, public bodies such as Spain's Official Gazette (BOE), the Spanish AI supervisory agency (AESIA) and the European Commission, technology media and news aggregators. An AI groups the items that report the same thing and scores them. Anything without a date that can be confirmed on the original page, or older than three days, is discarded.
- The writing. From what the original source says, an AI writes the story in Spanish and English and prepares its image.
- The check. An AI agent opens the sources and checks that the story is real, recent and not already published. Another AI agent, the reviewer, compares figures, names, dates, prices and versions against the sources. If it finds a mistake, it is corrected and reviewed again. A story that cannot be verified, or that has a false fact that cannot be safely corrected, is not published.
- Publishing. An AI agent publishes it with the real date of the event, writes the In 30 seconds summary without copying the text and adds Why it matters, a short analysis with our opinion marked as such.
What the editor in charge does
Jon Elgezabal decides which sources are followed and the criteria for publishing, reviews the website and is accountable for what is published. He handles the corrections we receive.
Sources
Every story cites its source and links to it when one exists. We use two labels: Official source when the source is the company, lab or public body itself (its website, blog, press release or help page), and Source when it is a media outlet or another publication. We always prefer the official source; if a story is only reported by the press, you will see it labeled that way.
News and opinion
The text of the story and the In 30 seconds summary are news: only what the source says. Why it matters is analysis: the context, who is affected and what a business or a professional can do, with our opinion marked as such. We do not use facts that are not in the source.
Errors and corrections
If you spot an error, email us at info@infinyai.com with the story's address and what is wrong. We aim to reply within 24-48 business hours. If there is an error, we correct it in the story itself and, if the change is important (a headline, a figure), we show it with an Updated date and time.
Advertising and independence
The website may show Google AdSense ads. Advertisers do not decide what is published or how it is told. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be labeled as such.
InfinyAI
At the end of some stories we link to AI for business, the InfinyAI section that explains what the news means for a business. InfinyAI is the brand that publishes this website.
