What is a sandbox

A closed space where a program or an agent is tested without being able to touch anything outside.

It is used to test what an AI agent does or to run code that is not fully trusted. If something goes wrong, the damage stays inside.

How well it works depends on how tightly it is closed: if the agent finds a way out, it can reach real systems.
