Cloudflare introduces Cloudflare OS, a managed workspace for AI agents in companies

In 30 seconds
Cloudflare has opened the waitlist for the managed version of Cloudflare OS, an AI agent workspace that connects to a company's data and systems. The company decides who can access it, which context the agent has and which systems it can reach, and Cloudflare handles the rest. It can already work with GitHub, send emails from Gmail and connect to Google Drive.
On October 1, Cloudflare announced that it is opening the waitlist for a fully managed version of Cloudflare OS, an AI agent workspace for everyone in a company that knows how the organization works and connects to its data and systems.
Cloudflare OS is open source and can already be deployed into your own Cloudflare account, but someone has to configure it, operate it and keep it up to date. With the managed version, the company decides who can access it, which organizational context the agent has and which systems it can reach, and Cloudflare handles the rest. For now it is only a waitlist: Cloudflare will reach out to those who sign up.
Cloudflare OS also gets new features. It can work with GitHub repositories: explore the code, fix a bug, add a feature or open a pull request. It reads Gmail threads, creates drafts and sends emails, and it can connect to an entire Google Drive, a folder or a single document. It also exports documents, presentations and spreadsheets to Excel, CSV, PDF, Markdown or HTML; Word and PowerPoint export is coming soon.
We believe the hardest part of these agents for a small business is usually not the model, but setting it up, connecting it to email and documents and keeping it up to date. A managed version targets exactly that, although we will have to see when it arrives and on what terms.
Why it matters
The hard part of an agent for a small business is usually setting it up and maintaining it, and this targets exactly that.
