Anthropic has launched Claude Frontier Academy, a program backed by a $100 million commitment to train 10,000 engineers by the end of 2027. It follows the medical training model, with in-person days, a simulated deployment with a graded practical exam and a 12-week residency leading a real Claude use case at their own company. Cohorts are already running in San Francisco, New York and London, by company nomination only.
Anthropic wants to train the engineers who take Claude (its AI model) into production inside companies.
It has launched Claude Frontier Academy, its program for engineers, with a $100 million commitment to train 10,000 of them by the end of 2027. The first cohorts include engineers from Accenture, Deloitte, McKinsey and Novo Nordisk, among others.
It follows the medical training model: in-person days with Anthropic engineers, a simulated deployment with a graded practical exam and, for those who pass, a 12-week residency leading a real Claude use case at their own company. The first final credentials are expected in early 2027.
The cohorts are already running in San Francisco, New York and London, and entry is by company nomination only.
We think the challenge is no longer just the model, but who knows how to deploy it.
