ElevenLabs Integrates Its AI Music Generator With SoundCloud

ElevenMusic, the ElevenLabs tool for composing songs with AI, will get a direct route to SoundCloud. SoundCloud Artist Pro now comes with three free months of ElevenMusic Pro, both for people who sign up and for those already paying. Music Week adds that those tracks will follow SoundCloud rules on AI, ownership and rights, and that they will be flagged as made with ElevenMusic.

ElevenLabs has linked ElevenMusic, its platform for making music with artificial intelligence, to SoundCloud. Songs that people generate with ElevenMusic can be published directly on SoundCloud, the two companies announced on Thursday, November 5. As Music Week points out, this is the first time ElevenMusic has let anyone take their creations straight outside its own platform.

The integration arrives with a deal for people who pay for SoundCloud Artist Pro, whether they sign up now or were already members: three months of ElevenMusic Pro at no cost, through SoundCloud's member perks program. That plan offers up to 1,000 songs, 500 stem splits (one track for each instrument) and five custom styles or voices. Both sources close that list with "per month", leaving it unclear whether the monthly cap covers all three figures or just the styles and voices.

Anything released this way must comply with SoundCloud's content rules on AI, including whatever ownership and rights requirements apply. Music Week adds that tracks coming from ElevenMusic will carry platform notices stating they were made with that tool.

ElevenLabs released its first music-generation model in 2025. In April 2026 it put out a consumer app that writes songs from typed instructions, and a month after that, a new model able to change genre partway through a track and to cope with more complex vocals, according to TechCrunch. The company says more than 25 million tracks have been made with its models so far. It also works with Spotify, where authors can use ElevenLabs audio models to produce the narration of their audiobooks and release them there.

SoundCloud, for its part, has been adding AI tools for artists: last month it teamed up with Moises, a company that builds AI music tools, so songs can move between the two platforms in either direction, and it has integrations with Google Flow Music and with Hook, a remix service. Other services are heading the opposite way: Deezer is rolling out a switch that removes AI-made music entirely, Bandcamp has banned it, and Spotify and YouTube have been more cautious about labeling it, TechCrunch notes.

The two companies describe the deal as the start of a wider collaboration. The sources consulted do not say which countries the integration is available in or what ElevenMusic Pro costs once the three months are over.

Why it matters · analysis and opinion

Until now, ElevenMusic did not allow direct publishing outside its own platform; with SoundCloud, those songs can reach listeners who do not use the tool. The move comes with the industry split: while some services let listeners hide AI-generated music or ban it outright, SoundCloud prefers to accept it with a notice of origin and rights rules. ElevenLabs gains a showcase for what its app generates, and SoundCloud a way to attract creators who already work with AI. Anyone publishing this way would do well to read SoundCloud's ownership policies first, because the notice makes clear where a track comes from, but not who owns it. It remains to be seen which countries it works in and what the plan will cost once the promotion ends.
