Grants of up to €10,000 to bring AI into family businesses

One of its measures is the Kit IA Empresa Familiar Madrileña, with direct grants of up to €10,000 for digital transformation and for adopting artificial intelligence. The Community of Madrid (Spain) has announced that it will invest more than €16 million in its 2026-2029 Family Business Support Strategy, a plan with around ten measures for these companies.
One of them is the Kit IA Empresa Familiar Madrileña (Madrid Family Business AI Kit), which will offer direct grants of up to €10,000 for digital transformation and for adopting artificial intelligence solutions. According to the regional government, they will allow companies to automate administrative tasks, improve customer service, optimize internal processes and increase sales.
The strategy also includes the Generational Handover Platform, a tool that will connect viable businesses with no successor with people interested in taking over their management.
That said, for now it is only an announcement: the official press release does not yet give requirements, deadlines or a date to apply for the grant.
